Hi, I am Zac. I am 30 and have been in the boating industry for 14 years! I started as an apprentice Timber Boatbuilder/Shipwright. After gaining my qualification I went and learnt new skills as a fibreglass boat repairer performing jobs from small gelcoat repairs to full rebuilds and re-sprays. I've gained extensive experience in boat detailing, particularly on larger cruisers in Lake Mac, Central Coast and the Sydney area. My next adventure took me to learning the ways of a deckhand, servicing moorings and eventually working my way up to becoming the skipper. I executed different tasks including salvages, tows, and working in conjunction with NSW Maritime - where I serviced navigational markers and attended boat disposals and emergency pump outs. When I wasn’t on the boat - I managed a boat yard! This has helped me develop my skills in slipping's, antifouls, fibreglass repairs, resprays, custom and full rebuilds, building new transoms, replacing flooring and stringers. My personal projects have seen me restoring boats including my own                                               old Haines Hunter (Almost a total rebuild!). Now my family and I enjoy using that on weekends. No matter what kind of boat, big or small there is nothing I can’t fix!
